The 2007 Winter Conference is quickly approaching. The Winter Conference Planning Committee met in October to sketch out the details for the upcoming conference, Wendy Kaserman, Committee Chair led this year's conference planning meeting. The planning meeting concluded when the committee decided on the theme for this year's conference: "Changing Times, Trends and Technology."

The Winter Conference will be returning to the Hilton Sedona Resort and Spa this year located in Sedona, Arizona. The Conference sessions will be February 7-9 with the Golf Tournament scheduled to take place in the afternoon of Friday, February 9 at 12:15 p.m. The 2007 Winter Conference Planning Committee has put together a fantastic conference agenda featuring the following sessions:

    Evaluating Investments in Infrastructure

    The Legislative Update
 
A pre-conference workshop is scheduled for February 7, featuring Aaron Brown from CNN's Nightly News as part of ACMA's Executive Leadership Seminar on Crisis Communication and Media Training. Participants must pre-register and pay an additional fee for this session.
 
Conference registration materials have been mailed out to members and a link on the ACMA website will allow members to register online. Room reservations at the group rate of $139 may be made by calling the Hilton Resort and Spa at 877-273-3762 or 928-284-4040. The group rate is only available through January 15, 2007. Rooms fill up quickly, so make your reservation early!
