ACMA Honors Esser and Andrews Scholarship Recipients
This year we had two excellent candidates who split the 2011 Esser Scholarship. During the Conference in Sedona, ACMA honored Eslir Musta and Chris Ewell as the 2011 Esser Scholars. Eslir is currently the Business Manager for the Information Technology Department at Coconino County and is enrolled in the MPA program at Northern Arizona University. Chris is a Landscape Architect at the City of Phoenix and is enrolled in the MPA program at Arizona State University.

Hillary Badger was honored at the Winter Conference as the 2011 Marvin A. Andrews Scholar. Hillary is pursuing a Master's of Public Administration in Urban Management from the ASU School of Public Affairs. The Marvin A. Andrews Scholarship is awarded to a traditional full-time student who exhibits a strong interest in pursuing a career in local government. ACMA provides matching funds to a city or town with a population of less than 50,000 or a county under 100,000 in order to host the Andrews Scholar as an intern.
