ICMA Conference a Success!
Thank you to the more than 250 volunteers who offered their time and efforts to support the ICMA 2012 conference in Phoenix/Maricopa
County, October 7-10. The conference was a great success and exceeded ICMA's expectations.
2012 marked the highest attended ICMA conference in four years, surpassing 2011 by more than 300 registrants. In addition, many of our
host committee events sold out, including: the social events at the Heard Museum and Corona Ranch; the 5K at Tempe Town Lake; the golf
tournament at the TPC Scottsdale; the hiking event at Piestewa Peak; the partner service project at St. Vincent de Paul; and six of the
nine planned field demonstrations.
We hope you were able to attend and partake in the many educational sessions and professional development opportunities.
