ACMA Launches New Pilot Mentoring Program!
The Arizona City/County Management Association (ACMA) is piloting a new mentoring program in 2014 for members. ACMA's goal with the creation of a state-wide mentoring program is to develop a leadership pipeline by engaging promising individuals so that they are prepared to step into leadership roles in our Arizona communities. The ACMA mentoring program is meant to develop partnerships between local government executives and entry to mid-level professionals. The mentoring relationship will allow knowledge, information, and skills to be shared that will foster professional and personal growth. These discussions are confidential, and will not be mentioned to anyone else unless mutually agreed upon by both the mentor and mentee.

The ACMA Mentoring Program will run on a calendar year basis. Each Fall, ACMA will seek mentee applications, request executive mentors, and pair mentor/mentees so meetings can take place at the start of the new year. The program will have no more than 10 mentees at a time, and mentees do need to be an ACMA member as this program is included as a membership benefit.

Please see below for further information on how to apply.

If you have any questions, please contact ACMA at or 602-258-5786. Applications are due Monday, November 18.
