ACMA Honors Evelyn Casuga with Honorary Membership
The Arizona City/County Management Association (ACMA) awarded an honorary membership to Evelyn Casuga at the annual conference on Thursday evening.

Casuga recently retired from the Arizona Public Service Corporation after nearly 25 years with the company, serving as the general manager of community affairs. During her time with the organization, Casuga led APS in becoming the first corporate sponsor of the Harvard Senior Executives in Leadership scholarship program, enabling Arizona managers the opportunity to attend this prestigious training program at Harvard University.

Prior to her time at APS, Casuga spent many years in local government, serving as the city manager in both the communities of Eloy and Marana during times of rapid change. In total, she spent more than a decade in local government in both California and Arizona.

Honorary Membership is a special category of membership through ACMA that is awarded to select individuals. Honorary members receive distinction following a vote by ACMA membership. Honorary Members bring contributions to the profession at a level greater than the organizations served by the nominee, as well as contributions to the profession as a whole.
