ACMA 2015 Summer Conference
By Brent Stockwell, Conference Chair and ACMA Board Member
Scottsdale City Manager's Office

We need your help. Open up your calendar and block out July 22-24 for the summer conference at Dove Mountain in Marana. You won't want to miss this opportunity to focus on key issues facing our profession, and reconnect with your colleagues from across Arizona.

We've been working hard to make sure we have another great conference line-up for you that's worth your time whether you're the city manager of Phoenix, or the newest associate member from Yuma County.

Here's a sample of the sessions you'll experience when you attend.

You'll learn about the yardstick for measuring public safety pension reform efforts, the latest in technology you can use to do your job better, and how you can help employees in crisis. You'll hear from veteran city managers from across the state about what they do to engage employees, and learn the latest techniques for making engaging presentations. You'll think about how your community looks to business, and learn how to improve how your community interacts with the police department.

The conference planning committee has been working hard to ensure this is a great conference, but we need your help. Open up your calendar and block out July 22-24 for the summer conference.

If you'd like to get more involved in making this conference a success, please call me at 480-312-7288 or send me an email at See you in Marana in July!
