ACMA Nominating Committee
In 2017, there will be three full member seats and one associate member seat open on the ACMA Board. Please review the following information below as it contains information on how to apply for an open seat.

Nominating Committee
Per the ACMA by-laws, a Nominating Committee has been selected to recommend a slate of ACMA Executive Board members for consideration by the membership at the Annual Business Meeting. The 2017 Nominating Committee is comprised of Nicole Lance, Surprise; Mike Townsend, Coconino County; Josh Wright, Wickenburg; and Teri Bankhead, Sahuarita.

This year, the Nominating Committee is charged with recommending a president-elect, three directors and one associate director for staggered two-year terms. The Executive Board members that are scheduled to remain on the board in 2017 to fulfill their terms are: Nicole Lance, 2016 President, Surprise; Mike Townsend, President-Elect, Coconino County; Shane Dille, Director, City of Flagstaff; Milton Dohoney, Director, City of Phoenix; and Teri Bankhead, Associate Director, Town of Sahuarita.

Nomination Process
If you are interested in serving on the Executive Board, please indicate your desire to the Nominating Committee through a letter that explains why you are interested in serving, and any participation on ACMA and/or ICMA committees. Letters to the committee should be sent to ACMA President Nicole Lance, c/o Amy Price, Member Services Associate, 1820 W. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85007. Letters of interest may also be e-mailed to aprice@azleague.org. Please note that nominees must have full or associate ACMA membership status. Letters should be received by ACMA no later than Friday, December 2, 2016.

ACMA Members will be notified of the nominees recommended by the Nominating Committee and will be given 30 days to vote. Additional nominees may be placed on the ballot by a petition signed by at least five full members and filed with the Nominating Committee.

At the Annual Business Meeting in February 2016, members voted to approve a bylaw amendment allowing for ACMA members to vote electronically through their secured member access on the ACMA website.
